Common questions
What counts as a request?
Every call to POST /v1/event — one per page load by a real or bot visitor. Static assets, API calls, and server-side requests are not counted.
What happens when I hit my limit?
On the Free plan, blocking pauses until the 1st of next month. Guard and Monitor remain active. On paid plans, overage kicks in automatically.
Can I use my own Passkey to sign in?
Yes. inOS uses OTP email code + optional Passkey (Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello). No passwords ever.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The Free plan requires no card. A card is only needed when upgrading to a paid plan.
What is the difference between Core, Guard, and Shield?
Core detects who is not human. Guard finds what you forgot to protect (RLS, CORS, missing headers). Shield blocks what you did not know you missed (rate limits, SQLi, brute force). Startup includes Core + Guard. Pro and Scale include all three.
